It is reported that Samsung will start to break the rules by opening up its Exynos chips and shipping them to domestic manufacturers such as Xiaomi and VIVO to become a product exclusively for the domestic market. This is a good thing for domestic manufacturers. Qualcomm has been occupying the market for many years, almost monopolizing the market, resulting in the inability to negotiate. Coupled with the fact that Qualcomm's position in the hearts of domestic manufacturers is rapidly declining in the United States against Huawei, Exynos chips will become the only choice to save domestic manufacturers.

Apple released its own computer processor, the M1 chip, which also USES a 5nm process to greatly improve its performance and energy efficiency. So Apple is ready to expand the market and add capacity. But TSMC's 5nm production line is almost full with Apple's A14, so it can no longer meet Apple's capacity. So Apple has to turn to Samsung, the world's second-largest contract chipmaker. Judging by the orders from TSMC and Samsung for Apple, it's clear that apple currently accounts for most of the world's 5-nm production capacity.

In the A9 chip era, Apple suspended Samsung's cooperation due to faulty workmanship. But this time, Apple has to go to Samsung for M1 chip. If Samsung can guarantee the high quality rate and high quality, it may restore Apple's trust and improve its ability to compete with TSMC in the chip industry.

据报道，三星将开始打破常规，未来要把自己的Exynos芯片开放，出货给小米、VIVO等国产厂商，成为国内市场的一款产品。这对对国产厂商来说，是一件好事。因为高通一直霸占了市场多年，几乎是垄断市场的存在，导致无法议价。再加上美国针对华为，高通在国产厂商心中的地位急速下降，所以Exynos芯片将成为拯救国内厂商的不二之选。

苹果发布了自研的电脑处理器M1芯片，同样采用的是5nm的工艺制造，极大地提高其性能与能效。因此苹果准备扩充市场，增加产能。但是目前台积电5nm的生产线已经被苹果的A14几乎占满，因此其已无法满足苹果的产能了，所以苹果只能找到世界第二大芯片代工巨头三星。从台积电和三星为苹果代工的订单来看，显然目前世界上大部分的5nm芯片产能都被苹果所包揽。

之前在A9芯片时代，三星因为工艺不合格导致产品出现问题，苹果因此中断了与三星的合作。但是这次M1芯片苹果不得已找到三星，如果三星能够保证良品率和质量，或许会挽回苹果的信任，也可为自己在芯片行业中提升对抗台积电的能力。
